Top management thinker and MIT professor Edgar Schein, is coming to lecture in Central and Eastern Europe for the first time. He will be a keynote speaker at a two-day HR forum at the IEDC-Bled School of Management, Slovenia, on 20-21 September. More...
....The forum, to be attended by senior executives, HR as well as general managers, will start with a panel discussion with a number of international high-profile HR and business executives, who will highlight their views about the nature of challenges facing HR executives and their companies, as well as the multiple and changing roles of the HR executive.
Edgar Schein, Professor at MIT– Sloan School of Management, also widely known as the founding father of the study of corporate culture, will talk about “Corporate Culture – Changing Role of HR Executives”, where he will focus also on corporate culture and its role in business performance and on processes helping the leaders to influence the culture, as well as making different sub-cultures work well together. Partnership between business and HR executives will be revisited, in order to optimize the effects of management and leadership selection and development efforts in an organization.
