The lure of the east has created a demand for a new joint venture. The leading Indian business school, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, and French business school ESSEC have been collaborating with MBA programs for nearly 20 years. This year however sees the launch of their first executive program.
"Harnessing the Business Potential of Asia" is a new program for executives looking "to deepen
their comprehension of the Asian markets, cultures, and actors. It will provide them with the tools to strengthen their leadership management competencies for harnessing the business potential of Asia.
At the end of the programme, the participant will be provided with a certificate co-signed by ESSEC and IIMA".
IIM-A also runs the "Global Leaders Program" a joint program with Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. The GLP has run for several years and takes place split between Duke's North Carolina campus and the Ahmedabad campus. It is aimed at senior managers from global and multi-national companies and those hoping to go global.
