Judge Business School has announced that Cambridge Corporate Education, providing executive education at the School, is launching a portfolio of non-degree open enrolment programmes. These courses will complement the existing range of certificate and bespoke executive programmes currently offered and is part of the School's long-term strategy to develop itself as a leading provider of high quality executive management education to industry.

Dr Lawrence Abeln, Chief Executive Officer, Cambridge Corporate Education, commented: "The School's expanded suite of executive education offerings capitalises on our research capacity and intellectual strengths, and our network of Cambridge University graduates, faculty and corporate relationships. Our goal is to align these strengths in the delivery of our programmes in order to have a positive impact on organisational performance and to support the development of industry leaders."

The new portfolio which will commence in October 2007 will include courses for individuals across the key areas of organisational excellence, people and management, international business, finance/accounting and marketing, with special programmes in leading virtual teams, health, arts management, clean energy and general management.

The majority of the open programmes are designed to be delivered over two days as opposed to the traditional five days, immediately making the courses more accessible to a larger segment of professionals, executives and senior managers.

Commenting on the expanded portfolio, Professor Arnoud De Meyer, Director of Judge Business School, said: "Organisations must invest in the personal and professional development of their managers at all levels. They must support a culture of innovation and creativity to compete effectively in today's business environment, and to plan for the challenges of tomorrow, by developing leaders prepared for change. Through the School's interactions with its partner organisations, we are able to apply our cutting edge research abilities to current business issues, promoting a virtuous circle of learning and generating real-time solutions and skills tool-kits for the executives on our business programmes."
