Repsol YPF and Fundació ESADE have recently signed a collaboration agreement through which the energy company will collaborate with ESADE’s Institute for Social Innovation. This agreement will focus on research and training projects in the area of corporate social responsibility over the next two years.
José María Pérez Garrido, Repsol YPF’s Director of Corporate Reputation and Social Action, expressed his satisfaction with the signed agreement, commenting that, “The approaches of the Institute for Social Innovation agree totally with Repsol YPF’s own approach regarding the role responsible companies should play in society”.
For Pérez Garrido, innovation implies value creation, which is an objective pursued by every organisation in terms of developing successful business projects. “We are backing this project with the conviction that the Institute will make an invaluable contribution towards companies being better for more people and for this to take place on a solid basis.”
According to Ignasi Carreras, Director of ESADE’s Institute for Social Innovation, “Thanks to contributions from companies such as Repsol YPF, the Institute will be able to promote research in innovating subjects in the fields of corporate social responsibility, leadership and management of NGOs and other non-profit organisations, with the aim of contributing to a fairer and more sustainable world.”
