About Exec-ed - Regional and national management education associations

See also

Only a small percentage of institutions offering management education are accredited by either AACSB or EQUIS. Certainly outside of North America and Western Europe there are only a handful of accredited schools. This does not mean that all non-accredited schools are to be ignored. Indeed many local business schools/management departments outside of North America and Western Europe will be able to offer greater insights, research and contacts to their local business community than accredited schools located in the USA or France say.

Membership of the local (either regional or national) management education association can be a useful extra tool in assessing a school's quality. Below we list most of the relevant associations around the world. Many (but not all) of them require prospective members to fulfil certain "quality assessment" criteria in order to join. All the associations listed below have their own websites – we recommend making contact with these organisations to assure yourself of its members' credentials.
